    Default HSV Badges

Well, i can see your point on the badges, but since i didnt put them on there, i cant se the piont in taking them off, all my other cars were debadged the day i got them, but ill leave this one as it is a Maloo Mockup, and how can it look the same without the badges on it, the only thing i need for it now, is a grille, and numberplate garnish for the tailgate, only has that on on the rear, and the HSV bonnet one, but i am definately lowering it once i have the roadworthy done, as the springs in my VH are way low, the old girl used to scrape speed bumps all the time unloaded, and were definately below 100mm (but for some strange reason the cops never worried about it)

HSV means "Holden Special Vehicles" so if he thinks his vehicle is special, let him have the badges on there, everyones car is special in their own eyes.

cool ute man...i'd prob suggest putting those springs in as soon as possible and looking out for a white hard top cover for the tray to give it the slick look.

Hell yeah, once i get the rego sorted, springs are goin in first thing, and as for the hard top, im gonna have a crack at makin my own, shouldnt b 2 hard, a thin ply top, bit of fibreglass ova that, bit here, bit there, couple of hinges, couple of struts, bit of paint, a lock, a weekend or 2 and a box of cans, and all should be good

yeah, i know all about that kinda crap happenin, but a spring swap is fairly straight for a vr, rears take about 5 mins each (im real good at them cause i used to keep a std set with me in me sedan for when i needed to carry a load or a couple of heavy guys in tha back) and as for atempting a hard top meself, im not fussed how long it would take lol, just something to try i guess.

quick update, i still havent forked out for a dyno run, but i do know that it does have a very simily power output to a genuine maloo, as i met one at the trafic lights today, and if i only knew how to launch mine a little better, i probs would have won, but as it was, he beat me in the launch, but from there on we were dead even with evry gear shift, and i had started to pull in front a bit, but i backed off at the speed limit, he didnt but im still pleased with my first traffic light drag

Yeah, wasnt the easiest thing in the world, i need to redo mine, i didnt use enough glue on the foam to board, n now its sort of letting go, dont drape all ova me like it used to, but is bad enough to redo, basicaly, you get headling out (bugger all holdsem in in ute) them strip ur old one, glue on board, glue on foam, foam onto board, glue on foam and new material, then stretch material over the whole lot, then fit back in, tip: use spraycan contact adhesive for the material, but normal paint on stuff for everything else (foam to board, and foam on the material side of the foam) there is a thread on this so i wont go into too much more detail here

The day i picked it up, driving back thru melb because of the crash in the tunel, 2 hours oof stop go trafic, man was my left leg getting sore, and right foot itchy lol, but thanks for the comments.
