I have owned this VS ever since I First Had my L's back in July 2006, i picked it up from a neighbour for $3800 with 10 months rego and 153 xxx on the clock in pristine condition.

Im tossing over wether or not i should do a 5 speed conversion although the Auto box is in tip top condition at the moment, so im hoping to save up for a Stage 2/3 Shift Kit and I'm going to rebuild the diff with possibly 3.78 gears.

For the moment im saving up for new rotors and pads, ive got this squeaking sound coming from the rears and its really irritating lol.

so yeah i'll keep you's all updated on the progress

i woulda thought a manual would be more worth it :P but thats my opinion

The Dash job was all done by me i just used the cheap 2 dollar spray paint and primer you can get from discount stores, it worked a treat! I seriously didnt expect it to turn up as good as i first thought and its still tip-top condition after 6 months =D.

front i got for $100 sides as a pair $80 and got the rear for $95, the front and rears are genuine too there usually a lot more then what i paid but yea not bad for under 300 bucks thought it was sweet,, you lookin at gettin a ss kit,,, cause my opinion man... GET ONE CAUSE THERE SIK AS lol ok mate keep me updated man

i got them all from the wrecker man, it took me about 3 month of lookin though aye, ow but i got the sides skirts off a mate , there actually vp ss side skirts, but personally i like them better than the vs ss sides cause they have mad curves either end, where the vs ones are pretty flat and straight,
but yea man ss kit all the way i always wanted a vx kit but the rears look like ****

yeah i agree with ya VX-VY rear bars, dead set looks like ass on a VR-VS.

are there any differnce between the lips and skirts of the S-pac and SS?

nah man no differents between the skirts, but yea keep ya eyes open for them, il keep a look out for ya to mate,

Hey man does your reflector you sprayed heron white on the boot match your paint colour exactly? picked up some heron white about a week ago to spray my side strips due to seeing bubbled paint etc underneath them when i attempted to take them off and when i sprayed the strips the colour is a couple shades lighter then the car just wondering if your reflectors like this or what kind of paint you got that matched it perfect. hey champ, yeah with the boot garnish strip between the tailights i used heron white touch up paint...its not an EXACT match, keep in mind that the factory white is like what..10+ years old?..but it doesnt bother me much. are'nt ya happy with the result?

Ok cheers, yer i used the touchup paint heron white to wouldnt mind it a little closer to the cars colour but yer looks good from about 5 metres away its only when you get close up that you can really tell the difference ile post some pics up when i get my boot fixed so i can safely leave my car in the street cbf'd geting it out of the garage atm

hey ridah just wondering if you used like a plastix primer before you sprayed your boot garnish or just sprayed straight on to it. Im thinking of doing my car also mine is silver but ive got the same clear atezza tail lights. It should look good when painted but i wont a close match so it doesnt look dodgy.

hey JAC8209, nah i didnt use plastic primer on the boot garnish i just gave it a good clean with wax n grease remover and then sprayed the touch up spray straight on to the clean surface.

how long ago did you paint the garnish brother? found a better match to my paint today and resprayed the side strips am alot happier with the result

thanks for that i dont know i pastic primer will make a difference did you put a couple coats of clear on too??
