nice senator but one thing i noticed was the brakes were stock commodore, why was that? my bro's vr senator had cross drilled/slotted rotors front and back and twin pot calipers on the front all from factory.

lol, was only a 185i. the performance brakes on 185i (which were twin piston front as you mention) were optional, and standard only on 215i cars.

don't worry guys, its only a matter of when, not if! oneday i will have another holden v8 powered hsv in my driveway i'll either buy a vs senator or gts or vt senator or gts. just gotta find someone who's got one and understand's they aren't worht the national debt

yeah, 185i auto with all the senator's extra added weight is no racecar, i just enjoyed it for what it was.

never really felt as if it needed more brakes, it did have the abs and irs package and also the self levelling rear suspension so it stuck to the road pretty well for a car of it age. i was happy enough with it, hence wanting another one again
