Thanks for the comments guys! Its still early days for the Calais and i got alot of plans for her!!

cxcxcxvcvcvc: I'll post up some interior shot shortly!

fitzy2005: Yeah i know the Chrome wheels are not staying!! I had them on my wagon and only put them on the calais for the wider tyres and traction issues! They will be replaced in due time with something classy and 19"+.

winton: Yeah goes alright for a stocker, will go even better when I bolt the new snout and rockers on!!.

^^^ Nothing Special...just a new Headunit! and i have a new Passenger airbag cover but its a pain in the ass to change!!!^^^^

^^^ I know its a mess, I don't usually carry that much ****...but my mate broke down and i had to help him out!

You can get replacements...but they are hard to find!! I got one of e-bay but you have to take half the dash out and the airbag to fit it! Its a job for when I have some time!!

    hey mate

this brings back memories mine was exactly the same colour and everything. but my interior was a bit cleaner, lol. i third the thought that the chrome wheels suck but yeah i know your replacing them. mine only ever rode on the standard 16" vs II rims.

how many km's yours done mate? just out of interest. those passanger airbag covers are a bitch of an idea aren't they. my calais and even now the replacemant senator have all been ok, so i've been lucky but they do look terrible.

all in all a very nice refined car to drive with the l67, effortless torque etc etc. i remember mine was quite a quick car from complete stop to 100km/h for a stocker.

keep us informed on any updates

Had a little bit of energy after work today so decided to have a crack!! I like it!!! Traction is good when I can find it, I need a LSD very quick. The downside is my transmission is definantly on its way out!!

Went out to the Burnout Warriors at Oran park today! There where some seriously tough cars out and plenty of smoke!! They also had a Dyno set-up so i though I'd give the calais a run and get a base power figure to work off! Managed to pull 135rwkw with only a boost upgrade, I'm pretty happy with it!

I got some goodies in the post last week. Mmm Billet fuel rails to replace the ugly factory crap!

Oh and she went in for an exhaust too, sounds farkin tough as now and deffinantly has more bite. I went for the 1 5/8" DiFillipo Extractors, 2 x 2.5" Magnaflow Stainless Cats and a twin 2.5" into Single 3" Stainless exhaust with twin 3" tips! I'm loving it at the moment.

Went out to WSID too last Wednesday night had a few issues with traction and some pinging, all I could manage was a 14.988 @ 95mph. I was hoping for more but there is always next time!!
