Thumbs up Here is our VR.

Here is our 1994 vr , we bought it already painted and with the kit. But When we bought it from a fellow in newcastle it had been very miss treated It looked like it had never been polished cracks and scratches every were brakes were metal to metal all round all tyres with steel hanging out. a real mess!!!!, we have spent the last few weeks getting it back to what it is suppose to be.
We added cross drilled and slotted rotors all round and matched calipers in gold, new springs all round, 20" set of esinems. Chrome mirrors m3style. Meshed front bar aswell as adding some spot lights also chrome. And a new steering wheel along with dvd screens in head rests and new speakers with 2 12" subs. And a really good detail.!!! the list goes on and on hope all you guys like. And the original owner can see his car has now found a good home..

Not a shabby looking vehicle. I think the front looks a little bland, it needs a badge or somthing. Good to see you fixed her up

True true. Its a 6. as soon is it lets go ,then will get the thing movin. we are thinkin of somthin a little different. Which some people frown at but a little indviduality never hurst. 2j conversion. same cost as converting to an 8 but much more bang for the buck.

Looks good, its a nice colour.

Chrome Spotties looks sweet, they cought me eye straight away.

the bonnet does need a badge, that will adda nice effect to it.

Possible get sum pin strip, strip up the lines on the bar n do the rest of the car, mite look good with the tint, but yeah its a gamble, just have to try n see, but that would take care of the blandness, its not bland anyways, mack is just stirring ya coz its not really a HSV even tho sim of his GTS stickers arent genuine hahah jk mack, u like the stir haha.

But yeah she looks hot man, colour is beautiful, whoops said it twice, its deserves it tho.

Just not sure on the wheels, bit big me thinks but blindingly shiny none the less

Engine Runs pretty well, its your average 6. Done a few trips to port mac from newcastle in it and had no problems. As for the tint it cost me 260 and a local fellow called dan the tint man done it, he looks after all of us pretty good and does a top job.

Beautiful car guys, shame to hear it was mistreated, but cudos to you both on the referb. Looks unreal now. Tint looks great... Legal? Either way it is a hot VR. Have always loved the VX Clubby kit on the VR/VS shape, hence mine having one.

Engine conversion sounds great too, has been done before, but not heaps, so you will still have a unique engine sitting under that gorgeous bonnet. Good Luck with it.

Car looks sweet. the bonnet baldge would look nice on the front of this... but also could put the Silver high lights that the Club sport kit normally has. my mate mat had a vs with the same kit. looked sweet with the silver highlights.
also im not a massive fan of the mags. nothing wrong with alot of dish love that just the mags look a bit to much JDM for an aussie car. still might match with the 2JZ in it.

    good work
