Neat car to start off with mate. If you don't do too much to it your better off buying another VS with a V8 in it already. But there is no fun in that. LOL.

comming home from my mates place and bunch of guys in a p plate falcon threw a egg at my car whilst i was driving, the egg went over the bonnet, window and the roof, meaning i couldnt see where i was going. when i got home i spent about 2hours washing ad polishing the car. I know what the car looks like, so if i see it the guy better be a quick runner

He is talking about a V8 not a V6. So in theory you could put a Vn 5 Litre motor into a VS.

I don't know what the laws are in perth but i do know in some states you can only put another motor in your car if its from the same build date or newer.
