today i replaced the front shocks and front ultra lows. also some new nolathane sway bar link pins.

wasnt too hard to do. only drama is that the springs arent much lower than my old ones

i will wait for them to settle as they are new. hopefully it will go down a bit.

hmm. mine doesnt sit that low. but i guess its because i also have new shocks and they need to bed in. ill give it a week or two and see how i go.

also dan i dont think that tapping noise you heard in my car was actually the exhaust as the drivers side front strut made that noise when i removed it .

but hey. i dont even know if the springs were any different

seats were hard on the wallet. back seat. straight swap.

font seats. the bolts didnt match up so i had to un plug the hole further back.

and the wiring its just hooked up to the battery through a fuse. so they can still move with the car off.

thanks for the good comments ladies

    Lower rear springs in now.

need to get something sorted about the front though. it has the lowest kings in at the moment.

so if i cant get any that are lower i will be getting them ones compressed.

wtf haydz? what springs are they in the rear now? lovells or something? I want mine to sit like that! And what ones did you have in the rear? And can i have them lol?

I reckon be patient with the fronts for a few weeks and see if they settle any. Also when you're gauging how much its dropped, have a look at it after parking it at different places as you may be mislead into thinking its higher than it really is. Try and get somewhere really flat and level.

looking good dude, let me know how much you get quoted to reset springs

well i have a bit of an update.

had a bit of a mishap with a gaurd rail the other night. and this is what the damage is.

really its only a cracked and scratched bumper. and the ding/paint removal of the rear passenger quarter

so this is how it will sit. till i get some time/money together and paint the thing. it wont match as perfectly as the rest of the paint but nothing you can do far from re spraying the whole car.

im not sure. i can get the front bumper in the same colour too. then possibly paint the side of the car. in the same blue as the bumpers. would just have to make sure it lines up . i might go grab it and get a new one painted up for the front. so the front and back bumpers will just be in a different sort of harlequin

oh yeah and for the jccc boys.

pictures of how my dodgy exhaust fitter caused my rear bar to be melted.
