looks sweet mate.. what you gonna do if it goes bang.. get another internally stock motor and bolt your goodies on or build up a motor to handle it all?
now that is sweeeeeeeet
very clean and tidy matevery respectable times
how did you do the exhaust manifolds?

do you have a time slip??? im a bit sceptical cos of no mods.... just cos of the MPH is a bit low to run an 11.74....
Just put another stocker in if she blows.
I got the timeslip here somewhere, ill try post it up. It runs a slow terminal speed because its crossing the line way past its peak power. Even though its turbocharged it still has the V6 crappy top end power. Im throwing on a set of high ratio rockers soon which should help out the MPH. 60" times around the 1.6 second mark helps.
This is a video of the 11.74 pass
YouTube - 11 second V6 turbo wagon
Ok found this floating around the net

ah k that might explain that time then!probably should look at uttin the stock diff gears in for now to help with the quick passes and running out of power
yeah ive thought about the diff gears but a few places have told me a high stall doesnt work that well with stock 3.08 diff gears. That ratio would have it crossing the line right on peak power so might run a slower time but would do it at more speed.
pic of the manifolds. The turbo in the picture is a GT30 that i had on it originally. The external gate now hangs off the bottom of the manifolds just before the turbo flange

Nuts man! awesome video, it pulls like a 15 yr old on bangbros.
Thats insane mate. How much did it cost ya? Seriously considering putting a turbo on mine (although maybe a little bit less boost so the engine lasts)
interesting way to cross over the bellhousing rather coming around the front of the engine, looks much tidier. well done![]()

what ecu are you running in it champ?
i kinda lost track of the cost, it was done over 2 years ago and not many people knew how to do it properly, so cost has blown out a bit from changing stuff. Big cost was changing the turbo from the GT30 internal gate to the GT35 external. To do it again would cost a lot less but its still up around the 12grand mark when you factor in a gearbox and diff rebuild. Its still not bad for a 11second car that i can drive everyday to work.
Its a stock computer with a kalmaker chip and 2 bar map sensor.
just that i'm chasing a better tune then what i have paid for but i am running a haltech
This is very nice. i have a GT3540 to go on mine to replace the T04 but bought it cheap and found out it needs a rebuild so that is delaying things a bit. took my brothers supercharger VU to the drags a couple nites ago and we got hooled. he has already ordered 1.9YT RR's and i am trying hard to get the turbo fixed so i can take mine down the track as well. good luck with your quest for quicker times. keep us updated.
hope mine ends up bein that quick
