VS making engine noise

hi
my parents vs v6 ****tadore has started to make a noise from the engine.

is a clunk clunk sound and its constant right thru the revs.

does anyone know whats the problem?

is i easier/cheaper to repair the engine or should we just drop a reco or even 2nd hand motor in??

you're probably not getting a lot of replies cause you posted your troubleshooting question in the "My Ride" section of the forums. This is where people put photos and information about their cars.

Also, you may get a warmer response from a bunch of Commodore fans if you don't refer to it as a "****tadore" (plus, isn't that one star too many?)
