Dont mind the covers, but you should paint the injected 5000 parts in black or somthing.
And yeah of course you can take ur rocker covers off, just dont get anything in there while they are off, you might drip a bit of oil but its not gonna **** out everywhere, and while they are off, might be a good idea to change the gaskets anyways

100% paint the ''injected 5000'' black
when i took my rocker covers off to paint then it didnt leak any oil anywhere buy defintally needed to replace gasket coz straight after i took it off to paint it leaked oil all over my exhaust manifold.

Hey does any one know of a good panael beter/spray painter in Adelaide? Pref if Adelaide, or the east or southern suburbs.

I want to remove my spoiler and get the holes welded up and the boot repainted.

I was going to just put black rubber grommets in the holes but the paint is screwed under the spoiler.

Any help would be appreciated, also how much do you think it'd cost? $200???

I'll give you the details of my spray painter. They aren't in the southern suburbs though. I am happy with the job they did on my car and my mates car too.

Nice mags the impuls look great on VR/VS's !!!

But the coppa's are gonna freak out when they see your monster tacho and they'll most likely do you for that and the non-airbag sports wheel !!!

I think the modification laws are you cant have anything protruding out from the original dash ! So if you mount ithe tacho in behind the dash line it's all ok... but hanging it off the steering column is bad mkay !

Don't get carried away and go sticking pillar mounts on it aswell unless you want to stand out and have the hassle of Regency Pk... you might get away with the tacho and wheel till you get pulled up the first time by a traffic cop!

Doesnt matter, that mini monster tacho didnt last long on the steering column, infact it didnt last long at all. I took it out, didnt like it, but it did look sweet at night!

Any one on here with an auto vs ss that has a mini spool? I am thinking of getting one, but wanted to get peoples oppinions about gettting one in an auto.

I am looking at getting it put in this week, but want some advice as to do it or not based on peoples experiences with one!

oh god there like 100 threads about mini spools... i personally say there not as bad as everyone say if u can drive!.. i use to have one in my 5 spd vr was awesome untill it ****ed all my rear bushes and tail shaft.. but u may aswell give it a go.
