Couple new additions over the last few months... give us ur thoughts.

New bushes all round, also nolathane sway bar link bushes and link arms, new diff cradle mounts, top strut mounts at the front, new power steering pump.

Superwhite LED parkers and aftermarket foggies with blue LED parkers.

Powder extinguisher, just incase.


Spoiler removed, and cleaned sides for stripes to go back on (long story).

Other news:
- A bolt came loose from the torque convector and messed up the inside of the tranny, also cracked the bell housing. Still going, but for how long

- Lowering was gnna happen, but the tranny prob is making me hesitant to spend alot atm.

It's an executive police pack.

It's the 5.0L so came from factory with SS interior, but the bodykit would have been previous owner I think. I just had to get the front lip/bezels.

It is tinted, can't remember exactly what it was. Was a tad below 35% on the front and I think 20% on the rear. Was the first thing I did, same day I picked it up

Coming along good mate . . what happened with the Tranny ? Got it fixed yet?

Well it hasn't gone bang yet. My mechanic said it was a mess and wouldn't last long after the bolt came loose. But I've been thrashing **** out of it, it's still going (touch wood) Had a auto joint give it a quick go-over +service and they said it was fine. No signs of wear.

Sometimes plays up on gear changes, slips etc. But mostly it goes fine.

How in the world did the convertor bolt come loose? If it does ever go do you plan on putting another auto or going a 5 speed?

Mechanic said the tranny had been removed before and the bolts weren't tightened properly, over time they all gradually losened untill one popped out. Scary

I looked into a 5spd, but in reality I don't intend on keeping the car long enough to justify the cost of a conversion. I wouldn't trust myself to do it, so I would have labour costs ontop of the price to get a 5lt manual wreck.
If it does go I'm gnna look at a new/rebuilt auto strengthened and shift-kitted.

But fingers crossed it'll last a few more years and I'll sell the car, either whole or in parts. By then I hopefully can get a used VE maloo for reasonably cheap

They were already on the car when i bought it. I'm sure they'd be some rediculous price from holden like everything else I saw a guy that painted his stock ones red somewhere on here, maybe try that.
