nice def a sleeper what times it doing ?
Eureka styles!
Nice, got anymore Pics of the turbo setup?
Shut up when I'm talkin' to you, you hear me, answer me!
Looks great, makes me wunna turbo a v6.
No track times, but did a 13.5 on the g-tech, i think with a bit more practice it should crack a 12. Has been suggested i drop in some 3.7 gears, but i do alot of highway driving.nice def a sleeper what times it doing ?
Yes, have plenty more, but didnt want to post up to many all at once.Nice, got anymore Pics of the turbo setup?
Awesome setup, very clean.
How many km's had your engine done when you put it together?
Hope the auto holds together with that power!
niiiiiiiiiiiioce, thats hot
whats springs you got in the front??
Do you live in Mildura?
~ VN POWER ~ Click the scales
Its getting close to 300k on the clock now and still going strong as ever. Automatic has full transgo stage 2 shift kit, with billet servo and trans cooler. Still running the standard stall converter.Awesome setup, very clean.

In that photo it had Lovells super low springs up front, the tyre was sitting at the top of the guard. But now riding on king springs low. It got a bit bumpy with the super lows installed but looked great.whats springs you got in the front??
Im actually from the Riverland, took it over to Sanmateo performance for a dyno run back in March.Do you live in Mildura?
thats an awsome setup. the old buick can handle a lot of punishment. on the strip you get better traction, with some decent semi slicks on the rear it might get real close to a 12. if not some gears will definitly do the trick.

Nice VR man, that turbo setup is getting some nice power out of the old buick.
that looks wiked does that intercooler stick down far hard to say wit hthe bar off
project vs wagon...5speed
vs wagon acclaim
very nice dude top work for getting those numbers makes my v8 look like a hyandai!
love ur work
Thanks for the comments, yes the buick engine is very tough. My bro and I calculated its putting out almost 2.5 times more than from the factory. Have thought about some diff gears but dont really know what to get.thats an awsome setup. the old buick can handle a lot of punishment. on the strip you get better traction, with some decent semi slicks on the rear it might get real close to a 12. if not some gears will definitly do the trick.
Thanks for support, has taken a while to get it to this stage but very happy with the results so far.Nice VR man, that turbo setup is getting some nice power out of the old buick.
Have added a few new photos. Intercooler is nicely tucked away behind the bar.that looks wiked does that intercooler stick down far hard to say wit hthe bar off
Thanks, I also checked out your VS SS and thats a pretty sweet ride you've got.very nice dude top work for getting those numbers makes my v8 look like a hyandai!
love ur work
Here are a few more photos ive added:
The 600x300x75 intercooler fits snuggley behind the factory bar.
Here is my custom console, took out the ash tray and fibregalssed it flat and then fitted in a 2" 5/8 boost gauge and 2" Air Fuel Ration gauge. Have also added a 2" oil pressure gauge to see how things are going under the bonnett along with the Greddy electronic boost controller hiding down the side.
Have upgraded to VS interior aswell as VS steering wheel, soon to be installed is a level 3 dash from a berlina.
Here's a closer look at the engine bay, and turbo setup.
Another view from the front, with the bonnet up.

Nice work, the last pic looks mean as!

I think from the pics you've removed it, but by any chance are you still running the air conditioner??
I'd love to turbocharge my VN but it'd be a lot of work and if I have to sacrifice my air con or run an ugly forward-mounted turbo setup then I will probably just stick with a supercharger.

Yes it still retains the air conditioning system. The summers can easily get over 40 degrees here so there was no way I was going to get rid of the air con. You will see in the engine bay pic the compressor for the air con hiding down in its regular spot & the hose going past the turbo housing is an air con hose that has been heat wrapped as a precaution.I think from the pics you've removed it, but by any chance are you still running the air conditioner??

The air con setup on a VN is slightly different and I think you will find it has more room than the VR.
Cheers
Interesting
How much did the whole setup cost you, if you built it yourself and don't mind me asking..

mate this is looking radd, cant wait til i do the same with my vs. How does the T70 compare with say, a gt35/40r? I imagine you've got heaps of headway with those 60lb injectors too, what psi were you at on the dyno? And how much was your intercooler piping?
keep it up mate, it'll pull much better once you get those 265's hooking up on the strip![]()
good job mate. thats awsome power. what pressure is it making? i did a 13.6 down the track with a mere 200kw getting through to the wheels as per the slipping standard auto and 3.08 diff gears in a heavy VT so im pretty sure you smash a 13.5.
My bro and I did alot of the work, so this saved alot on costs. I reckon you would be looking at around 4 to 5 grand to get everything setup and tuned. Theres still lots of little bits that you forget about and they all add up in the end.How much did the whole setup cost you, if you built it yourself and don't mind me asking..
I think the T70 and GT35R are about the same size, but without the ball bearings and water cooling. Mine has .84 exhaust and the .70 compressor. I originally ran 36lb supercharged V6 injectors, but these were getting close to 100% duty cycle so I upgraded to the 60lbs which are good for 700hp on a 6 cylinder. On the dyno it was running 14psi, the dyno guy said the stock heads were probably holding this thing back from even more power, but still the results were really good, 320hp and 570nm @ the wheels. I bought a aluminium pipe kit and basically fabricated it all myself and then had a local aluminium workshop weld everything into place.mate this is looking radd, cant wait til i do the same with my vs. How does the T70 compare with say, a gt35/40r? Its running 14psi at the moment, but traction is still a problem, even with the 265's on the back. Gets wheel spin from about 40-60, then 80-110km. With 205's on the back I would have no hope. No track around here, so might try out the g-tech again and see how it goes in this nice cool weather, last time was middle of summer.good job mate. thats awsome power. what pressure is it making? i did a 13.6 down the track with a mere 200kw getting through to the wheels as per the slipping standard auto and 3.08 diff gears in a heavy VT so im pretty sure you smash a 13.5.
238rwkw is awesome for a V6, still faster then mine![]()

Cheers for the rough price mate, appreciate it
I'm thinking of going a different way in my VN anyway at the moment....
