Dreams: (We all have them) C.O.M.E 4.2 stroker kit, Supercharge or Turbo It
After getting my licence late, I bought a VK Exec off a mate for $1100 With a roady, went ok for a bit, but soon after, I Realised it was a bit of a lemon, so it was off to find a decent car, to begin with I was after a calais and a calais only.. after one was sold from under me, just so happened to look for all holdens within 20k of my place, under 200,000 k's, under 5 grand, only 2 showed up, went around the next day and put down my deposit.
After calculations, I believe the guy I bought it off probly had to spend a good $700 or more on roady, with 4 new rotors and all new pads, valley gasket, new muffler and a few other things, I think my 4 grand was well spent.
Since then, its been about four weeks and I've started collecting parts and slowly getting stuff together as money is tight, starting with the basics!
Thanks for checkin out my ride!
Joel

very neat and clean mate, looks like a very nice buy, doesnt take much to get a bit of power out of these and will go a whole of a lot better than the vk and smoother.
good luck with it

Yeah, but 6 months is worth it, love that harlequin paint you've got, yeah, theyre built to last! service every 10,000k's, my mechanic is really good too, did some work on TRYHRD, that 2000hp clubby, and hes building a 383 VK at the moment.. I always planned on taking the VK off the road and building a stroker, but i think moneys too tight at the moment, id probly have more fun with the grand id get from it now and start on something in a few years!

nice to see you have a good mechanic to fix ya up. although most things with the motors are servicable with a few tools and a bit of knowledge..
maybe something you could try is debadge your car. looks heaps cleaner
where abouts did you get the led's in the foot wells. it looks mad.. i have factory green ones lmao

Theyre little 20cm blue neons, just wired them up to the cig lighter light, so theyre on with the parkers and turn off when i open the door, works well i think, otherwise you could just wire em to say.. interior light so theyre on when thats on. little double sided tape, just behind the bottom lips of the glove box and fuse cover.
yeah i think it would be nice to de badge it, might go have a crack now even, got prepsol and polish here..

Got bored, so I went out and de-badged it.. much better!
I also sprayed the boot garnish black, few coats and a couple of clear coats, came up well.. was nice and faded!

i only painted it black because it matched the strips around the sides, black is easier to match than white haha
