Red 5 speed VR Clubsport

Heres a few pics I took this afternoon of my new toy,bought it a week ago,after selling my Valiant Charger project.Its a Diablo red VR Clubby,number 587,185i 5.0 engine,117,000 klms.
MODS
Engine:Extractors,K&N filter,dual 2 3/4 inch exhaust the whole way through

Gearboxtock 5 speed,with heavy duty clutch

Brakestock(soon upgrading)

Interior:Stock apart from sports wheel,and JVC head unit,and JBL speakers

Bodytock

Wheelstock(might put VS Tri spokes on it)

Suspension:Strut brace,koni adjustable shocks,K Mac adjustable strut tops,adjustable radius rods???for castor?(the front wheels are moved forward),selbys sway bars front and rear,new nolathane bushes right through the car,rear suspension cradle strengthened,kings super low springs,plus plenty more stuff,but i forgot lol

Love VR Clubbys! One thing i dislike about them, the big CLUBSPORT at the back! Keep those wheels on it, or go some VS Senators, nice K's too, must sound bloody nice.

Nah,I personally love the big clubsport across the back,I like the VRs better for that reason lol,and yea,it sounds unbelivable....quite loud,but still has a real deep grumble to it.I got a few mates with Gen 3 commos,and they would kill to have my 5 litre superior exhaust note....

I love the big CLUBSPORT decal. Still decieding whether to go VS or VR clubby pretty much on that one thing haha. However the VS wing looks better.

250 km/h speedo with hsv logo didnt come till the VS,VRs had the standard 220

yep,just over 1100 from memory...a fellow member might be able to confirm this?

Its all 215 models, VR and VS. (so GTS and Senators, not sure if clubbys had the 215 option.)

There talking about on the speedo, not between the speedo/tacho. Had the opportunity to pick one of these up cheap, but waited too long. Will just get another VS one so both cars match

Ahh got ya, and no the VR/S Clubs didnt have a 215 model.

Update....done over 5000 klms since i got it.....still lovin it too,give it a cut n polish,more pics coming soon,no major issues,electric window buggered up,but i fixed that,replaced brake pads with Bendix ultimates,just had a new Exedy clutch fitted today,but startin to get bored with the power....I need more...might get a foamtune chip to tide me over till the bank balance allows for a blower...
