aha know the feeling, when u go over speed humps and women with 4wd just shack their heads at you,,, makes me laugh

yeah lol its annoying. i was real unlucky when i still had my 18's on and was therefore even lower and was going over a massive speed bump...and my mate was with his uncle behind me who is one of those mobile RTA people...that can defect your car etc...luckily my mate said he was knew me or I woulda got ass raped

just been fixing everything up lately needed new wiper arms and blades so put new ones on no more screeching when its raining haha...

    - cut and polished the 20's
    - changed the oil today, next week going to put in new brake fluid and change the pads
    - need a new heater tap as the heater doesn't work anymore, going to do that before it starts getting cold
    - took the pin stripping off my tail lights and polished the f*ck out of them
    - need to still get black mesh for the front bar, and also some foglights i hope i have time to do that this week
    - get the calais quarter windows tinted
    - HID's
    - SS kit if i find one, not to fussed at the moment
    -start renewing bushes etc

    thanks rabbit

**** i love how good this comes up when i clean it, worth every bit of effort lol. note the new headlight protectors i found, $5 at supercheap in a clearance bin, not bad considering my mate just bought plain ones for $50 at autobarn, something different anyway, and also the new height at the back, that is king springs SSL and the shortened shocks. Had all the wheels balanced today no more shaking steering wheel at 80kmh

edit = also sprayed my calais grills white

some pics with the old trampoline springs, not that much of a difference in height now

reckon you can put up a video of the exhaust with the resi off? Your first post says the resi is taken off now, i know you have youtube vids, but was it on for them? also how loud is it around? been pulled over?

this is with catback and pacemaker extractors with no rear resi... YouTube - VS V6 - Pacies and Lukey 2.5" exhaust

this is just with the catback, standard extractors with no rear resi ... YouTube - VS V6 Lukey 2.5" exhaust

it gets loud around 2,500rpm, keeps going till about 3500 then rounds out with a faster sort of tone, hard to explain but i ****ing love it, sound alot better than buick motors (in my opinion)... ive never been done for exhaust mate you will be right, theyre not overly loud unless you're flogging it everywhere....just open it up on normal roads and keep it quiet around town

thanks mate, shit havent been on here in awhile...

The VS is now undercover for the next year or so, sitting on 97,000km's. Don't want to sell it would rather keep it as a project, so I'm doing more mods to it over time, including supercharging it ....got my V8 now so going to be driving that with the occasional weekend drive in the VS to keep it running.
