Default super6 project, new idea

Well, re-doing this thread because I've changed plans to something easier and cheaper. I was originally going to do up this car;

VR Manual with a VS stato super6 engine conversion.

But now my moto goes on Saturday (Woo!) and I can finally start on my new project. My manual VR wil become my daily (cos it only goes through $50 a week). I'm buying my mates VR, which has been yellow stickered. It got defected for;
- being too low
- pruple, crappy rear tint (which has now been removed)
- no catback on exhaust
- guages
- no poppers on rear doors

Got stock springs and wheels to get it over the pits, but still got my money to spend on it first.
I bought an SC14 supercharger which will go onto it. Still waiting for that to come in as I bought it interstate. The reason I'm choosing to do my mates car up is because of its specs, and how much cheaper it is for me to do it this way because I'm getting the car for $2000.

engine has 140,000kms (runs perfect)
stage 3 auto
LSD
17" wheels with good tyres
big stereo
lowered
2.5" exhaust with extractors
calais tail lights

What I'm still going to get from the wreckers is the calais leather interior, and the statesman bonnet. Will hopefully be picking it up on Saturday, as he is holding it for me....cos I'm his mate.

Will hopefully have something to post up on Saturday.

I got the hoodlining done in my daily VS at the trimmers. Done an exceptional job for $240 and will never fall down again. Be wary of a second hand original it might sag too later on. Should come up a treat when youve finished the polishing and replaced that rear tint. Also see you got your priorities right too. Make go faster before wheels put on lol. I remember a sleeper called XPIGGY in the beginning with chasers on. If you got some spare cash left over get some slotted rotors and some green or red pads. What goes faster must also stop much more betterer but then again im old and you know the saying, if its too fast your too old.

Well its actually no nothing on the roof at all! Haha. But there are plenty of VR/VS commodores in wreckers and I'm bound to get a good condition on (and free!). Turns out I can get a free cd player too out of a wrecked car from my girlfriend's dad. Apparently not many people take them out after a write-off.

I'll at least be upgrading the brake pads too. But I've calculated around $5500 for the stuff to get done, including LSD. And i should be getting around $7000 for my moto, so I'll have enough to get all required work done.

Also need a bit of cash for some new BMX parts....because I can .

As for wheels, I'm just looking at keeping pursuits on. If I am going to upgrade rims, it'd be to some 16" pursuits with fatter tires off a newer model commodore. Though rims do look good, every commodores got them.

I'll probably leave it for a while. I want to spend some more money on my BMX.
