yeah i was, but i had to think about things realistically. buying a VY like i wanted meant i would have no savings at all, and for the price of this, i couldnt pass it up. picked it up for 5k

havent really driven it too hard, but its probably not that different from my supercharged v6. i was driving lightly due to not having driven a manual for a long time, and no insurance on it just yet until i get it completely roadworthy. ill keep the rims on it. i think they suit it well

yeah red tubing = gay. i need an airbox soon to get rwc anyway. covers are on the right way around too. must be an old photo.
from what i can tell its an ss with all the clubby stuff included. the VIN code states its an exec or an ss, but since it has power windows and cruise control, id say its an ss.

EDIT - its a real HSV, not a mockup - Stocky's VR Clubsport

Senator mokup, didn't think that would appeal to you Stocky. All in all it looks like a neat ride, not the best of colours. I like the 5 speed factor. Good luck with it.

considering the parts are genuine, i couldnt care really, not for the price and all the features it had. didnt see the point in paying double just so i could say i had something genuine. oh also mack, got side indicators

dont think ill be doing too much really. new catback maybe and a CAI. single 3 inch sounds good, but its too loud. i think its cammed already, so ill tune it as much as i can, mainly for cruising economy. apart from that, ill just keep it serviced. i think the gearbox might need a service soon, but the diff feels really good.
