yeh looks heaps better with the black
(if you were to do it, it would match the zebra pattern) if you could get a purple a bit darker then this it MIGHT look good, if matched with another good colour

    took another look.
If you did the black i reken some chrome door handles and a few more chrome features would set it off.
any chance oof that getting a quick photoshop just 2 see it lol?

Damn mate, that's lookin very very tidy.

A lot of work though... I'm lazy, so i just bought a new back seat and didn't touch the door trims.

That's a bloody good effort Keep up the good work

well haven't done too much to my car, but I've put in Berlina rear seats which i received from a fellow member after doing some electrical jobs for him. plus i added some leds on my tow bar so if someone where to hit me at night, they can't nag that it wasn't visible.

the first 2 pics are the old ones i had, but i got sick of kids picking them off when they where leaving school so i replaced them with the ones which are used in rear spoilers plus are visible during the day (pics 3/4).

they work like this; when braking, two outer ones light up, but when the lights are on, the outer ones stay on but dimmer, while the inner ones light up at full intensity when braking. taken all precautions e.g water proofed, fused

and the last picture was what i thought was a nice sight when i was adjusting the tow bar light intensity.
The interior lights reflect on the boot so i get quite abit of people trying to peak inside when i'm at the Drive-though at night and I've progressed to my Green P's

    well its been awhile,

pics in post 1 have been updated
i've taken off the zebra skin trims, sad i know

on the lower half of the doors which where painted black, have been done over with black velvet like the headlining which make it looks cleaner and won't fade like the paint did, including the window roller handles and front pods

i was lucky to get a statesman seats for a steal because they where dirty with marks, so i got some meguiars carpet and upholstery cleaner foam, now the seats look good as new.

the front end hasn't been painted yet, my dad backed out and i don't wanna stuff it up,

cheers mate, not much one can do whilst on P's for another 2 years
i've taken off the hubs and polished my steelies, been driving on them for a good while. tho the hubs make an appearance once in a full moon

i've done a couple of small things since the last post.
repainted the engine cover silver again to make the bay look cleaner, Vt side indicators and got 2 front guards from the wreckers. just fixing them up and should put them on some time soon. ($175 compared to $1000~for a repaint)

P.S ditched the idea of painting the car 2 tone

    darn its been too long,

not much has happened to the since last post since i needed to save up spending money for when i went overseas.

got a sports exhaust fitted with rear res. w/twin dump pipes which i'm happy as with
hubs like the zebra skin are long gone, painted and put back in the grill inserts and clean glossy black stockies FTW!
just focused on keeping the VS looking neat and tidy

next on the list is to repaint the bonnet, front bumper plus some other spots and playing around with the idea of adding a rear lip spoiler and bezels with foggies.

heres pics of the VS next to Alien's VT
