    Question.....who speced up the motor as in what cam and comp? If it were engine builder why are u paying to have it fixed? Did I read that orig cam was a 286 spec cam? If so 11.1 us prob too much comp. Tuff build very similar specs to my build. Was thinking of using the Starr manifold but the price put me off. Like the stok look they have.
    Rims looked mint on it but understand the need for grip lol. How does it go against new utes?
    Thanks man. I won't comment about the engine builder on the forum. I just thought it was best to try and sort it out myself. I quite like the starr manifold, but yes they are expensive, I was lucky to get mine second hand. It goes pretty well against the new utes. I have raced a 317 maloo and it didnt stand a chance, but I presume it was stock. I doubt I would be able to compete with a lsx after its had some work done to it. Have seen your build thread, good luck with everything mate!

    I have decided that I'm going to put the ute up for sale in the next couple of months. I just don't have the time for it anymore, because I work away a lot. It also needs a couple of things done here and there and I don't have the motivation anymore, which is a shame because I have a shiny nitrous kit waiting to go on. Will post an update soon in regards to the sale. It will be sad to see her go.

    The ute has been sold!

    Have purchased a toyota supra. Has been tuned to 800rwhp but is now tuned at 683rwhp for the street.

    at least you know that dyno sheet is a true figure, thunder uses a single roller dyno, looks pretty good, big change from the ute

    wow that ute was very nice. you had a great standard with it.

    and thats a nice supra you picked up. enough gauges to send that thing into space!
    how about we make the pedals out of sticky rubber and the shoes with steel spikes. at least my shins would like that

    Cheers for the replies folks! The ute has been sold to one of my mates so I'm happy that I still get to see it, and will be kept updated on what happens to it. The new owner does have plans to put the nitrous system in, so it won't be going to waste Andrew! The difference in power and power delivery between the cars is staggering, it's taking me a while to get used to the supra, and we have been getting some wet weather recently so that's only hampering my efforts to tame it haha.

    you should know that a supra has a twin turbo rocket attached to the inside. thus you will not need pictures =P

    Love the ute mate! Looks like u got a nice supra! Maybe add more gauges lol. Love the cockpit feel they have when your seated in them!

    Yea I know what you mean about the cockpit feel, everything in the cabin is directed at the driver, its a weird feeling at first. With the ute I made 300rwhp with a custom grind cam from camtech. Still going strong with your build?

    Ha ha sorry didn't realize I had already commented in this thread on pretty much the same question lol! 300 at the rears, f?ck yea that's one tail happy Vs. Mmmmm my build is going slow, motor is in shed wondering why it has no home lol. Been to busy with my other toys lol

    How did u get 300 at the rears with the bananas? I thought 200 was the max u could get with the bananas? And about 220 with the starr manifold?

    went for a ride in his new supra last week....it is ridiculous....the power comes on so strong. never been in anything that quick! my eyeballs are still wide open
