Hey Folks...

Just picked up a new Stato.. already has a few things done to it.. will be getting a engine rebuild in the next week or so, although it already goes well..

some info:

304 5ltr
Shift kitted auto
Lowered on King Springs
2 and a 1/2 inch zorst
VT Clubby rims??(I think)
Tints (almost clear.. why bother??..lol)..

Thanx guys..

plans are: slam the arse end.. bigger rims.. replace the tail lights with the chrome surrounded set.. and finally a re-spray, getting rid of the 2-tone..

rebuild still on the cards, just been postponed for a lil longer.. engine isnt rooted, but I always get my engine's rebuilt so i know where I stand with them.. nothing worse than wondering if its gonna die on ya any time u take it out.. she still goes pretty hard tho..

Have been thinking about rebuilding it with a 355 stroker kit... anyone used the ProComp kit?... good price and seem to get good results.. see what happens... might just throw a cam and chip in it.. any suggestions?

really want to respray it too.. morons that owned it b4 me have made a mess of it.. painted str8 over the pinstriping.. theres scratches everywhere.. even on the roof.. how the hell do u get that many scratches on the roof?..lol.. anyhow, dont want to spend a fortune on a respray.. so anyone on the Goldy that can do a cheap job, let me know

From the pictures above the paint work looks pretty shiny mate. . you dont like the two tone? I got my clear side and front indicators of ebay. . I think I paid $30 for the sides new and $50 for the fronts. Made a big difference . . Has it got leather interior?

hey mate..

yeah, from a distance the paint looks ok.. but there is about a million scratches in it that wont buff out.. some almost look like they were keyed.. the 2-tones ok, but costs more to do when resprayin it.. no leather unfortunately... will be in the future tho, trying to find some factory leather parts on ebay at the moment..

definataly gotta get the vs series 2or3 real garnish and tail lights and get clear side indicators and clear front bumper indicators looks much cleaner.
