my vr ute s pack

Hey this is my first car so dont be to harsh on me.Its a vr s pack ute with ugly 16s so thay will be off as soon as possable its had a series 2 engine put in it a rebuilt trany and a new cluch the body is pretty ordanary at the moment but thats first on the list and not real sure bout wheels mabye vx ss mags i want it to just be neat, as if ill need any more attention from the cops. Any advice or ideas would be much apraciated

yeah the ssv rims would look sweet. actually, the ve ss ones dont look to bad, my mate just put them on his black vs ute, looks heaps good.

ill put some pics up with the body as it is now, tomorow with the dents fixed and filled before paint. does anyone no how much a respray would cost im not painting the engine bay or inside cause ill paint it a similar colour. any comments would be good

Yeah mate, like the choice of wheels. Was going to go with a pair myself, til i found some HSV trispokes for sale.

So, you're doing the paint prep yourself? I think I may have to investigate this further, thinking of doing this myself.

Price of paint job will completely depend on whether you are after a metallic job, a base colour or non-metallic. Because you have done the sanding yourself i can't be sure of price, you would have to ask for some quotes. Though it looks like it will come up real nice! Keep us posted.

an update i have ordered king springs only lows cuase its a work ute aswell should be here in 2-3 days and ill putt em in on the weekend and post pics

how ya paint job go mate?

havnt painted yet its primed and im putin money into gettin it regoed then save up for a good job,
i needed new shocks for rwc so i done springs aswell

got rear springs in no probs droped bout 30 mm strait away so maybe more once the settle,
pulled front struts and springs out only to find the bearing was stuffed so ill have to get 2 new ones :l ill post pics when done.
The back guard was 680mm of the ground now 650 seems low for only lows but im happy

new pics painted wheels and properly fitted pannels and lights and lows all round im gettin new tyres so the overspray dosnt matter

update!!!!! decided to paint the ute myself/dad so after buying 733 worth of paint (2pack) we cleaned the and sanded the body yesterday and painted build primer and sanded today also painted front bumper and some other odds that we had to use plastic primer for, we are going to put another coat of primer next weekend then paint it paint looks purple under fluro light but havnt put clear yet. also painting mirrors and door handels same as body colour
