Car: 1993 VR Calais V8, bought it around June/July 07.
Got it with most receipts and service history records including full-body rust proofing, sound deadening and paint protection from factory
Engine: Holden 304 EFI, Foamtune, OTRCAI (Holden) Pacemaker Headers, std cat, 2.5" Redback Exhaust. Alloy Radiator.
Trans: Transgo Stage 2 Shift-kit and Corvette 1st-2nd Gear Servo.
Diff: VP GTS Clubsport, 3.27:1 LSD
Suspension: Front: - KHFL-47HD Kings and Boge shocks. Rear:- KHRL-46SSL Kings and Boge short shocks.
Wheels: 19" CSA Vanquish. Toyo Proxes R888 (rear) Pirelli P-Zero Corsa (front)
Interior: Calais leather and velour, Autometer Oil/Water/Volt gauges, Alpine CDA-9831 and some Focal gear to go in when I CBF'ed
Exterior: Deleted rear wing, VS series 2 calais grilles
I'll try n' whack up some more photos of it standard, when I bought it.. but I gotta find em first
Recent changes: GTS Diff, Autometer Gauges
Upcoming changes: Install new nolathane control arm bushings and strut mounts, Replace all chrome bumper/lower door mouldings with new, switch to twin exhaust.

its badged VS and even has the V8 badges on the side like the VSi think the previous owner wanted a VS
dunno how the whitewalls will look on it though.

yea the v8 badges are only on the VS, the VR had no v8 badges on it but i cant say **** bout thosei put em on my calais as well
is yours a series 2? what month was it made? how many km? how many questions haha

Pretty sure mine's a series 1, I'm still at work atm but I'll jump on a bit later at home and post what month it was made.
I bought it with 180k on the clock, it's around 188 - 190 now if I remember correctly
Very keen to ditch the cat-back and get a decent twin system with some extractors too. Also on the to-do list soon is the diff.. its only a single-peggerIt needs 3.7's with either an LSD or MAYBE a minispool.. but the missus sometimes drives it and there's all the legalities too, so I'm a bit weary of that path.
I should have a few extra bucks saved shortly so before the diff or exhaust I might put a Transgo shift kit and corvette servos in the trans like every other 5L auto out there hahah.
Got a few mates with some spare 304 Blocks and heads sitting around.. Been toying with the idea of just picking them up for a steal and slowly building something ballsy on the side. I cant afford to have her off the road, she's a daily

anything before november 94 is a series 1.
dont skimp on the extractors and get pacemakers and a twin 2.25 or single 3", ive still got a single 2.5 and its killing my power and fuel economy up to 18.7L/100km atm.
you should get a greenfoam tune as well, best mail order tune you can get.
im sure somebody will buy the spoiler when u rip it off![]()
Ah yeh forgot the foam tune, spoken to a few people on these forums and thats the general vibe, awesome bang for buck.Is it easier to ask him over these forums or just thru his eBay store?
Lol I got 10 bucks for my VN wing when I pulled that off, it's the cost of welding, smoothing and respraying the boot once it's off that scares me.

well the majority of buick and 304 JC members have foamy tunes, i got one in both cars.
he is probally easiest to get ahold of through msn, i think his JC PM box is full and he doesnt always have the ebay store with stuff in it, you will need to get another memcal from the wreckers to post to him to tune for you too.
dont get twin 2.5's way to big unless ur gonna stroke it or F/I it, biggest u want is twin 2.25 otherwise you will loose power, twin 2.25 maxes out flow wise at about 250-350rwkw from memory and currently your car will only have 120-140rwkw and the single 2.5 maxs at 150rwkw
buy a second hand boot, just get it resprayed. saves alot of hasle welding grinding and bogging.
If it aint broke, dont fix it.

mud flaps off and lower it a tad bit more would set it off nicely overall nice lookin car i reckon rims suit white walls will work

lol so series 1 then, if u buy a twin 2.25 off a vt-vz u will have to get custom pipes made up from the cats to headers too btw.
getting the title changed from 1994 to 1993 for yayou can edit the post urself.
dont forget the high flow cats when u get your exhaust.
