cheers champ.yeh my mechanic has just built a brand new stoked 355 and the bloke that he built it for dosnt want it so my mechanics been telling me to get it coz its insane but its carby and im sorta not liking that so thinking maybe just keep da charger and rebuild motor and stick a cam in there and get some head work

Yea well the carby setup would probably chew up a fair bit more fuel, plus it might be difficult to start sometimes. I'm impressed with the power you are making at the moment, if you did some more work to the 5L I'm sure you could get heaps more power out of it. Let us know what you end up doing.

well got news with my car,decided to keep it,sold the supercharger kit for 4,500 to troy off this site.and brought the new 355 stroker motor cant wait to get it put in.still gotta save up bit of cash for carby dizzy and 4000 stallie for it but yeh cant wait.

well unfortionatly i dont think the carby n the air cleaner on my 355 are gonna fit under the hood so im either gonna need a bonnet scoop or just have the air cleaner sticking out the bonnet which would look alot better n tuffer than a scoop.but what if it pisses down rain will it do any damage?cheers.post up some pics if u can with scoops coz ive seen some which look gay as **** so i wanna see if a scoop will look ok.cheers.

yeh man.just dont wanna deal with the cops n headaches n bullshit,and rather the car to be more fuel efficient as i drive it everyday.now im tossing up between leaving the torque power manifold on and drill holes out for injectors then getting a 1000cfm throttle boddy ontop.i know i change my mind alot but want the best for my car lol.plus drilling holes out n getting 1000cfm throttle body is gonna be cheaper than the come manifold.

1000 cfm throttle body hes talking about is the carby style one that goes on that style manifold. if you want that kind of flow from the bananas, you get a starr manifold with a 90mm throttle body. when choosing these manifolds you need to take into account things such as runner length. you can easily make a bad choice on manifolds, so thats why im still making up my mind as to what to do about the manifold on mine

well actually im not going carby anymore.efi ftw.long story short,gave my single plane manifold to a mate to sell it but i changed my mind at the last minute so i told him to keep it and not sell it,then he says he just sold it lol.so i just got off the phone to torque power and got a great bargain brand new torque power single plane high rise manifold with holes already drilled out for injection all for 900 cash.picking it up sat.

my build is takin nearly aslong as ur's and mines alot easier..farkn HPF farkn me around they had the car for 1 month and told me 1 week ago blower needs to have a rebuilt coz its on its last legs, apparently it was making some weird noises like mega ****d barrings..so thats at capa or was at there being rebuilt, everything new and comes with 12 month warrenty..so hopefully i can keep up with u when u have ur's running lol

u serious man?thats ****ed?who said the blower was on its way out?was a bit noisy but was told some are noisy some aint so i didnt pay attention to it.my 355 is going in as we speak shud be in by next week.still gotta get 750cfm throttle body and memcal yet.shud have dat next week.so shud be up n running withing 2 weeks.cant ****in wait.shud make around 240-260rwkw.gonna be sick.haha u can try mate.mechanic says it will destroy the charger setup i sold u lolz.
