98 VS Caprice

hey guys this is my vs caprice i bought not so long ago from my auntie havnt done much to it but here it is.

Year: 1998
Colour: CHampagne
Engine Type: Ecotec v6
Engine Mods: none
Exhaust: standard
Gearbox: Rebuilt auto with stage 2 shift kit and TCE 2800 convertor
Diff: Rebuilt with 3.9 diff gears and mini spool
Suspension: ultra lows in the front with monroe shocks and ceompressed ultra lows in the back with monroe shocks
Wheels: 19" senator signitures
Interior: Standard Leather/Cloth, Rear venetians.
Stereo: Standard
Future mods: 5Ltr eventually, and then probly a change in diff gears to something higher.

When i took the stuffed motor out I was rolling like this for a while.

ahh ive seen this car on TI forums before, looks good dude, and dont worry i dont think you will need 4.11's with a 5L, 3.9's should be enough

btw out of all those pics i actually think it looks the best slammed on the stato rims

Thanks mate yeh im on TI, Nah im going off this similar setup I have seen in another car and made good power but also did some good times on the quarter, he had 4.11's, But i just love doing skids so yeh.

And as for the caprice rims i got balled tyres and was cheaper to buy my mates sigs then it was to get 4 new tyres for the 16's so yeh thats how i got them.

what suburb are you from? there is a place in the west called western super tyres (i think), guys sells 2nd hand tyre's with a shitload of tread for cheap MWAHAHAHA!

ahhhhhh shitloads away, well just go to any smallish shop and ask them for 2nd hand tyre's for the back probably pay about 100-120 a tyre? and if there going up in smoke there is no point paying heaps lol

Its alright i havnt had to buy a set of tyres in a while coz i have a knock in my bottom end so i havnt been driving it until i find a new motor.

looks tuff as f**k with the GTS's on the front and the acclaims on the ass. you end up getting that door fixed?

Nah man not yet, i got 2 other doors to go on, i had money for it to get sprayed but i ****ed my motor again and now i gotta spend the money i had saved to get it sprayed on a new motor. But i got the rear left quarter fixed. My auntie reversed into someone and it kinked over as you can see in some pictures, but thats now fixed and jsut in primer. But when its sprayed i got all new headlights indicators and foglights from holden. So should look nice with all the new shit in there.

I'd me weary about lending your mags out. a so called mate of mine borrowed my old ones, and gutter bashed them, then told me 'they were like that before i put them on'. No-one borrows my mags anymore!

you say the exhaust is standard.. yet in the last two or three pics.. can't see the tip/end? lol whats the deal there?

Mazzstein: thanks mate, i liked the gts's but i didnt think they suited it very well coz you could see the brakes and i dont think you can have those wheels on a car with small brakes. I just got king springs all round, ultras in the front and compressed ultras in the rear and sorry i couldnt tell you the part number, I did it so long ago i wouldnt know where the boxs with the part no. are.

STEALTHY: haha yeh i know thats one thing i said, but i trust him and he takes more care of his car then i do with mine, but if he scratches them i got pictures of what they all look like from when i bought them lol so he can get them reparied. Thanks for your comments.

Tr3nt: it is standard until over the diff, because one day i was driving and drove over a bump in my street and the rear muffler caught on a bit of cracked road and ripped it off, so i havnt gotten around to fixing that yet, but i will soon coz my boss is letting me do my motor at work instead of at home so while its on the hoist i will get a new exhuast and chuck it one.

I agree with wagon wheel, the caprice rims looked awesome. But as said be fore no matter what rim is put on it, it looks great. Love that colour too.

yeh they are my road worthy tyres. only put em on if i get defected. only had them on that night cause i drove through a pot hole that scratched the sh*t outta 2 sigs and had to get them re-sprayed.

Ahh that sucks, my original plan was to get the caprice rims polished and shit but then the sigs came up for a real real good price and i couldnt refuse. Cant wait to get it going again i need to go cruising bad as. I also need to get oen of my wheels reparied after getting bit of gutter rush on it.
