Actually "mate", my commodore aint stock standard, and i aint a sheep. if you read what i said i have a wagon, and no one else has posted any pics of a wagon. I resprayed the interior and had new carpet put in, new seats and a shitload more. Soon as i get a chance ill post some pics. Its better than a calais interior. Justcar insurance valued it at $11,000 (its only done 133,000KMS). How many worked, customised VR wagons do you see on the road?
All im saying is for my taste you've over done it. When you do something different its a feature, designed to catch the person's eye. When you have everything as a feature its overwelming.
Everything on the car is different, and you cannt say you dont have much money, to have the car resprayed twice. Mine cost $1400 for new interior, and i did EVERYTHING MYSELF. I pulled off all the panels, sanded them, painted them and reinstalled them. I cut the carpet myself to fit, i did all the labour and got the parts at cost price. If you've had yours done twice thats at least $3K, Plus all the body work, thats gotta be at least $10K spent on that car. I work full time yet i cannt blow $10K on my car.
I recon most people will agree that you've over done it.
Judging by the house in the background of the second picture, you dont look hard done by.

I think everyone misunderstood me on this, Im talking about the just commodore forums, look at the website picture in the very top left corner, Like right up the top. its got a pic of a speedo and rev guage, look at the display. Its at 6000rpm at 48kph. Im just saying for a worked commodore thats pretty weak. whats everyone else's thoughts?
i just want to know what under the hood if it looks that good and spent so much money its gotta go good too..........
Hey JB5 LTR, VERY NICE. Thats the sorta car i would like. Sexy without being over the top. The wheels and sunroof are a feature and draw my eye. Looks in great condition. How many Ks? What did you pay for that?

ive seen pics of that car somewhere (maybe on boostcruise) with the doors open and it was still white inside the doors... who resprayed and haev you fixed that little dilemma? pity to see so much work go into a car adn have a fckup ike that!!!

the entire car has been resrpayed ... it was done quickly that colour b4 about a year ago 2 c how it looked, the doors engine bay boot everythings been done. That was when it has the interior. The clear lights look 1000 time better in this car than the original red ones .... they looked crap with the colour

car has got 207, its a V6 and ive just turned 20 ... y do u think the interior was done twice .... because i did it myself the first time, everything except the seats ... i pulled every panel of and sray bogged it and then i sanded them all down and 2pac em. trust me man, ive dont at least 10times the amount of hours on my car than u probably think i have ... i do the sales for cougarbodystyling, i can lay up bodykits ... therefore i did the kit and all bodywork myself ! the interior has been re-done now because i was sponcered after precise trimming liked the look i had done , it cost me 3grand for my seats in leather and entire dash done in swade, my car has 104 k's on it . ive owned it for 2 years, a year ago i wrote it of , i spent 4 grand 2 get it fixed cause i didnt want 2 lose it, dont tell me this car hasnt come a long way and that i have just paid for everything 2 get done, all that bodywork took me 6 months of the road to do this car, really dont appreciate it when u try and tell me how much work u have done on ur car when u got no idea wot effort ive put in2 this car. Read street commodores , issue 91'. The car is in there with all engine features, ive worked ****in' hard man 2 get it looking like this, i was in the military for about a year and when i got out i spent all that money on getting the materials 2 do my car .... money very hard earned. if u saw the car properly in person it does not look at all 2 over done, those photos do not do it justice .

Mate lot of work, was it worth it for a vs commodore? I mean i didnt mind spending $1500 and 3 weeks work. But if i was going to spend some serious cash i would buy a better car. after all, its still just a vs commodore. If i was going to spend that much cash on mine it would have a supercharged genIII in it by now. Engine around $6K, supercharger another $6, do the conversion myself. Spend a few $ on the looks of it, but have the fastest sleeper goin round.
Well guess what, we're all induviduals and spend our hard earned money the way we intend. Everyone's different and builds their cars up differently.

this is my toy. i bought it stock and have done the motor, wheels, exhaust system, de-badged and filled in the doors. future mods body kit and supercharger and a manual g/box. let me know what you think.

i know you have worked hard on teh car but it seems youve done alot of things on it twice? (and major things like paint and int.) ...harks back to the old "do it properly do it once"

Mate i dont think you should be acting like suck a f***n child, omg i love my ride, ive put 10 times more hours into than you think! what ever dude, not EVERY single person that comes on this site is going to like what you have done, yeh i dont like it , some ppl do some ppl dont, my advice to you mr 20 year old is take the good comments with the bad! you can't expect to get all praise for your ride, i aint dissin how much effort and man hours you have put into your ride, i jst think you should expect ppls opinion, cos not everyones opinion is gonna be the same as yours! accept it!

thats right, you need to realise that people are going to have different opinions of your car. Personally, i dont like the body either. i find it too 'plastic', however, i DO like the interior work.

Heres a few of my vr acclaim 94! Its nothin fancy at the moment.... its only 2 days old...swapped my old shitter of a 4wdhilux for it! will start doin basic mods shortly! has immac interor, 170,00ks, IRS v6. Oh and it has bling Blue parker lights.

hey man, i just really dont like the people who scream out at cars when they are really nice. I dont know if you get it where you from but in surfers there will b a nice car go past...people get jeolous n all they do it bag it out because they have tried 2 b different. I know its not the best car in the world, shit, i did win best in the state though for my car in show n' shine. Ill post my mates ute up if you think mine is overboard .... hmmm he has put VU quarters on it and made ferari vents in the sides with a VT door skin moulded over hes VS ones ... the doors open upwards like a lamborgini ... the car is crazy ! it actually looks really good 2 id have 2 say, ill get some pics, it will spin u out !

hey every one i cant get any pictures to load, but i have a VS acclaim with 17" VT senator rims, and it is light blue, not a very nice light blue. i was wondering if anyone has any pics of a light blue commodore that has been done, cos i would like to see whether my car has much potential colour wise. cheers.
