Hey guys.. swapped my VR SS for this.

Diff: Open wheeler... have an LSD with about 8 teeth stripped off the crown wheel in my shed that ill be putting a new gearset on this week at tradeschool.
Brakes: Stock
Suspension: SSSL Kings
Wheels/Tyres: 19" DeCorsa
Interior: Holden Leather
Stereo: Pioneer headunit
Other mods: none
Future Mods: WH Caprice bonnet emblem, Series III front and rear lips and a grange bootlip, 18% tint, maybe different wheels. put my stereo in (2 Alpine 12" type S subs and 2 sets of Alpine splits) 3" single exhaust. Stage 2 shift kit.

Nice mate i think it looks better then your ss, dont mind the wheels but i think you could find better ones eventually, thinking about buying one if these myself but a white vs caprice, love em, hows it go compared to the ss?

its pretty slow compared to the ss.. but i dont need that much power its a cruiser. umm just gonna get the rest of the series III lip kit,a grange boot lip and some tint i reckon for now.

interior is sweet apart from the front seats are a bit cracked drivers worse than passenger.. but ill get that fixed through work cheap

I really love the VR/VS statos and yours is an excellent example! My dads looking @ one right now with a HSV 5Ltr in it and some nice rims, Get a nice exhaust for it mate and some tint, will be killer!

Wow thats a nice Statesman but a downgrade imo, but as you said your after a better cruiser which the stato wins in that department. Car looks like it just came out of the factory !

definately not a downgrade mate.. my vr was a series 1 1993 model this is 4 years newer, all power options, good paint, only thing the SS had over this is the 5 speed. im happy with the swap. cheers
