Cheers man, I've always thought that the polished look would look sweet. If I did go the polished look I'd get Aluminium V6 Rocker covers, and polish the manifold and plenum as well, get a real shiny look happening.

What sort of places would polish up metal like that?

    UPDATE!

Modified and rewired a VS airbag steering wheel center and put it on my old non airbag steering wheel. Now looks sweeeet! I might write up a how to on it for future people because it is actually pretty easy. Anyway it looks sick. Next step is to get it wrapped in leather.

    UPDATE

Finished Debadging the car. Removed the Ecotec V6 badges from under the side indicators and cut off the ECOTEC heading, so now it looks the same as a V8 badge on the SS, only V6.

Painted my rear calipers, didn't do my front's just yet as I'm still tossing and turning over whether to get VT calipers for the front and Slotted RDA discs are soon on the list also.

Also replaced my two rear tailights as my left one had the reflector faded to clear, looked pretty shithouse so got that fixed now.

anyway, here are some pics which unfortunately make the car look as if it is sitting alot higher than it is. Standing next to it, it's pretty damn low. Probably just the shadows and my amateur photography.

haha cheers mate. I saw your car at Shoppo on thursday night, I think the new owner was driving it, guy with a big nose lol.

Yeah it probably was the angle I took it on, because I've measured it properly, the bottom/lowest point on the car, being the extractors are 101mm off the ground, 1mm above legal limit. And standing next to it, it's pretty slammed, with about two finger gap between the rear guard and the top of the tyre.

I think I need photography lessons.

It's looking good dude, A way to get some neat shots is go to a place with no refelctive surfaces around that will bouce off the car and be seen in the photo, like walls and trees, also I like to take a few shots with the camera practically on the ground, gets a nice effect.

    Good luck mate

Got rear ended yesterday, a 4 car chain reaction accident in Canterbury. No body damage, apart from both clips that hold the rear bumper on are broken. A/C fan doesn't work at the moment, getting that fixed on friday, and I think the trans needs a little bit of a service.

Other than that, it's going alright. You got a new car yet?

Yeah I have to pay for my damage, I have third party fire and theft insurance. The bumper bar is hardly noticeable, apart from the fact that both clips are broken and it hangs I was solidly nudged from the guy behind, and I solidly nudged the person infront who smashed into the back of an SUV. The person in front of me bore the brunt of the accident.

The A/C problem is a result of this accident, despite their being no body damage, the bump must have really, knocked it about. So as I said, that's getting fixed on Friday. Hopefully it doesn't cost too much.

Yeah mate, I'm glad she's ok. Though she's running a tad rough, so I think the trans needs a good service.....she's not 'firing on all cylinders' so to speak at the moment. So bit of maintenance work on her coming up....

NEW BRAKES GO ON SOON THOUGH!!!!

Got some new gear ready to go on, waiting on my RDA Slotted 296mm rotors

Also got some new engine shots, cleaned up the bay, polished the plenum. Will look so much better with the Red Rocker covers on it.
