seats look great champ. Would be great to have all electrics too i bet. seat goes up, seat goes down lol top work. Whats next on the cards?
yea vs caprice seats. the wiring was suprisingly quite easy was just a matter of finding the power and earth cables and connecting them to the fuse holder and the ground. three will bolt straight in but one wont as the rail is longer. to i just drilled through the floor and put the bolt in with a washer and nut.
yeah electrics are fun. umm im not sure as ive jsut been hit with rego and insurance in the same month. ive thought of a sunroof, not really nessecery but im always open for ideas.
I love the interior , what kinda paint did you use for the dash?
There's a place in melbourne that charges $700 for a manual sunroof fully installed on a VS... And i think i read somewhere they do a 2 stage electric sunroof installed for $1100. Pricey, but they look nice![]()
Man starting to come along nicely. Quick question with the interior painting. Do you take everything off to paint it or just while it's in there? (I'm pretty sure it'll be the obvious answer but just curious)

im sad to say it guys but this car is now gone. it was a great first car and learned alot from playing around with it. There is now a new project in the driveway. A 98 vs ute. ill start a new thread on it on the weekend
how did you paint your doors? did you take it all out and paint bit by bit? and what paints or dye etc did you use? im new to it all and u have done a great job![]()
yea door panels and handles and anything else were taken out painted and put back in. Except the dash i left that in and coverd everything. The paint is just K and h vinyl dye bout $17 bucks from autobarn/supercheap. all the silver bits are just $3 rattle cans
interesting interior
