Matts VR II S-Pack Manual

Hey guys this is my first car got it in 2007 picked it up with 154,000kms, heres some pics and info on the car let us know what you think and any thoughts on what else I could do

Endine mods: CAI, K&N filter, chip
Gearbox: 5spd Manual
Exhaust: 2 1/2 inch exhaust with pacemaker extractors, high flow cat and no resonator
Diff: Standard
Suspension: SL in the front, SSL in the rear
Wheels: 18" lenso gt05
Interior: Sports steering wheel, red leather manual boot and handbrake boot, aftermarket gear knob
Other Mods: Debadged, Tinted taillights, clear indicators, tinted windows, painted brakes
Future Mods:
was considering doing the following but am now thinking may save the money for my next car
-high ratio roller rockers
-3.45 diff gears
-twin dumper tip
-SS fog lights
-remove spoiler and install lip spoiler
-lower front more
-maybe ve gts 20" rims

This is when i first got it, sat like a truck and had altezzas which i wasnt a fan of so got rid of them and put the originals back on

thanks man yeh would be nuts with the fogs just trying 2 chase up a cheap 2nd hand pair so hopefully something will come up lol

yeh really not a fan of them especially those 1s i had
i dunno they just look really out of place as soon as i bought it i had 2 take them off

Definently a good choice taking off those horrible alteza's lol. Car looks good mate, maybe a shade of tint on the taillights because they look like they fading

i dunno i rekon it could look alright there someone else with a vr/vs on here with one and looks pretty nice

hey guys just wondering what is lower ssl or ultra low and if theres much difference in the height because my mate got some rear ultras that he offered me

also for anyone that has any idea was wondering if its hard to change diff gears and whats a good ratio for more power but good for an everyday car

Some new pics my car and my mates vy out at cardinia reservoir. I think we did quite a good job with the photography skills . Dont mind the stockies, i have the rims off at the moment to give them a good clean

Neat looking car mate! will look tough with the VE GTS 20's if you go for them. I wanted them on mine, but i went for some 19's instead coz they cost half as much haha

Bit of an update on the weekend finally got around to painting the brake calipers and discs
i think it made a big difference and would definately recommend people do it for how cheap and easy it is

The discs after sanding them with a wire brush belt sander much easier then sanding by hand but still probably took the longest out of everything i had to do



Finished and all put back together

was thinking of getting either white or red walls put on my tyres but undecided what colour??
any thoughts would be great

How long did it take you to paint the calipers?

umm i think just started on like a friday night took it apart n then sanded n then just did the painting saturday and just left it til sunday morning to make sure it was set but prob could hav put it back saturday night
