My First Decent Car (1996 VS Ute)

Hey Guys, just wanted to show a few pics of my ute, and some ideas for the future maybe... this is my first holden, before i was just driving around in mums old magna, so allready this is a massive improvment.

Colour: Traditional Tradies White (With Gay Black Bumpers)
Kilometers: 181,227KM
Engine Type: 3.8 Litre Ecotec
Engine Mods: Stock (For Now!!!)
Power: Whatever Stock Power Was, thats wat im rolling with right now
Exhaust: Stock
Gearbox: 5 Speed Manual
Brakes: Stock as a rock
Suspension: Stock
Rims/Tyres/Hubbies: 15in VY Hubbies I Think (Correct me if im wrong please)
Interior: i have lambswool seat covers, does that count?
Stereo: Kenwood KDC-MP343 Head Unit
Future Mods: Wanna put new speakers in it, new steering wheel, gear knob, new rims are a must, hopefully put a ss bodykit on it, lower it a bit, probably a rollbar for that tough look, CAI, 2.5 Inch Exhaust System Soon, any other mods that you can think of, send them my way

by the way the car isint normally that dirty, have just been lazy for the last couple of weeks and cant be bothered cleaning it out

hey everybody

just a quick update of sorts, havnt done any mods to speak of, however the right hand side rear quater pannel is now screwed. i was parked in a carpark, having some lunch at a maccas when another p plater who was parked next to me just decides to swing straight into my car. from the first quote i have got, looks like $1200 damage, but she had insurance so thats all good. funny thing is that she only had her p's for 3 days, so talk bout a good way to start.

will post some pics later on, with hopefully some good news on the repairs

ýeah mate got a few plans, but main plan is to just get it fixed first.

but after that i was thinking about a set of vt gts rims for it, nothing too fancy

best v6 combo the commodore has seen so far.


ecotec and a t5 are a deadly combo. especially in a ute. my mate has one and its deadly on 15's and in the wet.

colour coded bumpers would finish it off well.

hey just a quick update on the damages

i have to wait for bout 6 weeks for the guilty party to get the $$$ for the repair job, but will be done soon at all type crash, hoping for a quick repair cos it sucks arse driving a car with a huge dent in it....makes me look like a bad driver!!! lol

will keep updated on the repairs when they happen

finally got my money today, and gonna go book it in tomorrow, cant wait to have a straight car now, it feels like ages ago the accident happend lol

anyway will keep updated if anything new happens in the mean time

well car is now in the pannel beaters for a week to get fixed, so im walking for the next week

on the plus side, mum and dad agreed to buy me new speaker for my birthday in a month, looking at either kicker, fusion or jl audio in 6.5 inch 2 way component speakers, but if anyone else has some suggestions feel free to chuck them my way

and really want a new set of shoes for my car right now, looking at either vx gto rims, vt gts rims or even these atp utesters im quite liking right now

only problem is the severe lack of funds atm, so i dont think the utesters will be possible, but let me know what u think of the others or suggest some of ur own if u want, im open to suggestions.

i put 19 inch chomies on my vs ute and it turned into a total slug. choose something light weight if you still want decent pickup.
