just gotta conect the nutral switch,speedo and reverse lights. but you still get the engine check light...get foamy to do up a chip and that will get that sorted

Defiantly a lot better, the box is running so sweet and its funny because no one is use to the clutch except me lol so no one wants to drive it which is a good thing lol. anyway got a little work done yesterday.
Removed my oil cooler and lines for the auto, was a bit of a messy job but gave me a chance to give the engine bay a little bit of clean.
I've also notice that my exhaust is starting to leak, but only through the back of the mufflers possibly from rust, from sitting around for so long. So time for a new ones i think. I will most likely just replace the mufflers with resonators but im not sure how it will sound? my mate has a x force system on his vy ss with no mufflers just resonators and it sounds insane so hopefully mine will also. I'll be using some off a ve gts (got given cat back system of my uncle one) so i'll start doing it as soon as i get my hands on a welder, so wish me luck

hmm a little bit of a update, today i went out to do my weekly check and discovered that my spring had popped out of place lol. So as i was putting it back i thought while its up in the air that i'd chuck on some stockos for different look. All was good untill i decided to leave my driveway. I heard the usual scrape from the dirt on my exhaust but as that happend i ripped one of the pipes off lol. mustive been a bit rusty from 6 years of sitting. so now im up for a new cat back lol, any ideas? i was thinking of ditching the mufflers and just chucking up some ressys instead from a ve gts. anyone got any idea how loud its gonna be? or if it will just sound like utter shit?. Anyways heres some pics of the aftermath. enjoy
ouch thats not nice haha. i caught mine on one of those refill drain thingys at a petrols station and thought i ripped it off, wasnt a nice sound lucky it wasnt haha. not sure on the type of mufflers etc to go for mate but was just gonna say try and tuck them up as high was possible underneath or get the muffler placed next to the fuel tank and get rid of the ones underneath in the middle to give better clearance. i was thinking getting that done soon to my car

hi again, thought i'd accually post some decent shots of the interior (copped a few bad coments on another site about how i had rubish on the floor lol) so let me know what you all think. personally i love it, but the console still needs to be finished(when i get abit more cash flow)
Also thinking of ditching the standard steering wheel for vr gts one or clubby one, any ideas on that?.

jesus thats low, you have problems with it hitting the ground on hard change to 2nd? my ss was that low at one stage and would smack the ground into 2nd. and drag the ass on the ground for all of first and into 2nd if i had anyone in the back and took off flat stick

haha yeah i did that sometimes when i had the rear section of my exhaust on...but since its now dumped that the mufflers its sweet. only issuse is the tyre scrubbing if i have any one in the back and i get up it.

havent really got much of a update, but yesturday on the way to pick my new tyres (bridgestone potenzasso now i got defected for my tyres( was my spare 20s) and my exhaust. oh and he gave me a new sticker....but it didnt take long for one of my mates to try to rip it off. So off comes the 20s and putting my old mufflers back on so it will pass inspection....all 2 days before c4c
but its still going

tell me about it, every time i have a friend help me out with working on it they try to jump in the car with dirty hands....hence why i have a stain on my drivers door trim...so everytime someone gets in i always pulled em up and say "WASH YOUR HAND!" just incase.

well its been a while but a few new things. spent about 1000 doras on the old girl last week, so now its got a new twin x force style exhaust with lukey muflers and twin 3in dumpies and new twin 12s and box in the boot for the sterio. heres some pics...will get some of the new subs when i have time. Also...had to get a photo of a friend washing my car....it will probli never happen again lol.

not sure what you meanits all pretty much how i got it on the inside...
yeah im trying to sell the old wheels so i can get a new set of gts's...but not sure if 9's will fit on the rear with 245s....in the pic thats a 9 inch rim with 275s and i couldnt move the car because the tyre scrubed the inner gaurd like crazy. But hopefully with some 235s or 245s they'll fit sweet. Also tinted my windscreen the other day in 20%.looks insane.

lookin sweet mate. love that interior. My vs ute has 19x9.5 in the rear with a 245 tyre on them. it has live axel so im not sure if the irs is that different. I only have minimal scrub when the car is turning. Good luck with it
first time ive looked at this car i think, wish i clicked on the thread earlier! so nice. i dont know about the gts, they look nice, but i like the dish on the current set!
i like the tan interior too
