gday. Just replacing my inlet manifold gasket and need to know the bold torque specs for the lower manifold (one that bolts up to the head) and also the upper inlet manifold (the one on top) Also between my upper and lower manifold I'v got a metal gasket there whereas most people have a rubber one whats the go with this? can it be reused?
thankyou
Thats correct, its metal, shouldn't be rubber? The seal between upper and lower manifold.
LOWER INLET MANIFOLD 12- 18 Nm
ATTACHING BOLTS
UPPER INLET MANIFOLD
ATTACHING BOLT
TORQUE SPECIFICATION
10 - 14 Nm
ohok by looking at this guys thread http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...commodore.html it looks as though he has rubber oring type seals? my manifold gasket set I got also has this type and not the metal type. Can you reuse the metal gasket?
thanks for the torque setting mate
always buy new gaskets, saves going back later
