Does anyone know if the vt ss s2 was released in red? There seems to be a shortage of them and I cant find what colours they were released in i know of herron white bermuda blue tiger mica and raven black. But cant find red please help!
Is there any such thing as a red vt ss s2!
Pretty sure they werent released in red.
I can dig my sales brochure out i have in the garage from when i got mine in 99 if no one else lets you know.....
My major concern is that i have one!!! its sting red ive had it for a few years and now i question why i haven't seen any others???? it is a ss and it was the red ss that followed the olympic torch relay. Is it the only one or have i been shafted!!!! thanks
You know when you mention it i cant seem to think of seeing a red vt s2.
But im sure tomorrow il be on the road and prob see a handfull of them but who knows lol
Yeah they were released in red. My m8 brought a red berlina in red witha Gen3 but wrote it off....
That would of been the maroon colour (granada mica). Dug out the brochure in the garage for the series 2 & there isnt a sting red colour that was produced. I know the vx has the red. Colours for the full Vt series 2 are below...
Heron (white)
Orion frost (silver)
Tungsten mica (browny/bronze)
Tiger mica (orange)
Granada mica (maroon)
Tundra mica (Brown)
Bermuda mica (blue)
Amazon mica (blue)
Capricorn mica (dark green)
Cinnabar mica (lightish red)
Phantom mica (black)
If i got any of the colours wrong its due to the light & a few too many beers!
Pretty sure I rememeber reading that the Olympic Torch ones were a limited run of red and no other red SSs were manufactured in the VT Series II
Your spot on with that list, I have a Series 2 Sales Brochure as well and the attached scans are from the colour chart inside the brochure. Not to say though that maybe some of the late Series 2 VT's didn't get the VX colour
Red Hot/Sting Red (Same colour), as a test leading into the VX.
The colour must exist as I found this one on Carsales.... Maybe they were a test colour for the VX?

there were a couple of red ones done for the olympic torch relay, though the number of them built could probably be counted on one hand.....
