    Smile L67 parts

I'm chasing parts for a L67, nothing too major at this stage but repco don't stock them and can't order inm

Dose anyone know where I can get them? I'm on the gold coast. Brisbane is fine too. Or happy to order on the net if I can beat holdens prices.

    What I'm after-

    Rear main seal+plate
    Main gasket under superchager
Vaccum lines off back of charger.

Also the rocker cover gaskets are listed as a different part to ecotec, are they any different to L67 or just the price?

    Cheers

its aluminum.. it can weep oil

its recommended to change the plate with the seal anyway..

worth it to save splitting it again!

can you just explane these ones to me mate?

yeh i got the chaged off just stipped the fuel lines and got the injecters out 8 or so long neck bolts and see come off, gasket was brittle as tho hench way im chasing a new one now. thought it was coming off in one pease but ended up cracking. the inside of the charged has a little color inside i'd say its the norm, is it worth spending the time to clean it up?

whats your thoughts on ecotec wiring loom or changing over to super6 loom?

just inspect the seal where the converter sits in the trans.. if you havnt removed the vonverter and it hasnt leaked yet just leave it should be all good

and theres 3 points on the coverter where it bolts to the flexplate.. just make sure theres no cracking on the welds..

and not really sure on the looms..
are you converting to an l67?

yeh going from an ecotec to a L67 in a VT.

the super 6 loom is all out of the wreck besides the two main leads running into fire wall as fair as i know the only differance if the leangth of a couple cables like throttle body and i would imagin injecters and a little different too. i'd like to change it but not real keen on stripping the dash to get both and to swap over. can't really see anothe way to get it all out.

cheers for the tip on the trans ill check that out. yeh it looks all dry trans side so hopefully she is all good. you must have given her a good wipe to crack it ??

what do there super 6's go like anyway. i hav;t been for a run in one yet. but keen as to find out !! have you got any other mods on yours ??

yeah im not real sure on the looms mate would have to ask someone else on that..

    to crack what? baha

and they are just insane compared to an ecotec.. so much more torque..
before i get the 18s id smoke up the sock 225's without a problem off the line just flooring it

you can beat ls1s and most wrx's to 80ks without much trouble.. theyre catching pretty good by then tho lol

iv just got a cai n k&n pod, 10psi pulley and massive exhaust lol
    tuned soon tho =]

puttin a corvette servo in the trans tomorrow hoping for good results with that!

Sweet as man, sounds good I'm looking forward to getting this old girl running..

She is all stock at the moment got a bigger exhaust but standed headers keen to change them and look at one of these 10psi pulleysm

What are the standed ones running.

I'v got a plan to run the standed air box with an extra air inlet. Not too sure how it will go but we'll see in a week or two..

Cheers again for ya help there is a autopro not too fair from me so hopefully they have some parts waiting for me in the morning.
