No, but they should, i mean they just hold a beefed up watch battery, would take too much charge from the car battery to keep it full.

yeah as stated many times above no, but it does stay charged for a while lol. nearly everyone has the original battery that came in the damn thing.

    why do you ask?

It seems they do but they dont as mentioned 100 times before...

My key sometimes doesnt want to unlock the doors till I chuck it in the ignition and leave it for 5 mins,
Its like it dies then the ignition charges it but it doesnt. Their wierd things that last longer than a watch cous their not ticking every second.

A watch can last years on one of these batterys but its constantly using power whereas the key isnt.

k cool thanks ddint think so
just asking casue im having a bit of trouble starting (already posted) first thing in the morning - it doesnt even attempt to kick over but once it does if i try it agian starts perfectly, heard it could be the key but dont want to replace it if its not, and if it gained any bit of charge then it would make sense

without sounding like a dud, thats not a stupid concept. yes, granted the batteries last a while, but they eventually flatten. It would save needing replacement batteries and keys. Battery sellers probably wouldn't like it much but theres a concept for a car company to condsider...
