Default Which way up do I fit my springs?

I've just received my new front and rear shocks and springs and saw that they're progressivley wound.

Which way up do they go?

    They can go either way.

But to save confusion and for a snug fit they print numbers on them.
The numbers usualy face up the right way.

Just a tip for you if you dont have spring compressors.
Dunno if utes are the same IRS setup as sedans but the rear springs arent easy to get out.
For the rears, pop another scissor jack between the axel and the chassis and pry the axel down till the springs ready to pull out.

Very dangerous as the jack becomes spring loaded but highly effective.

I've got some compressors. I didn't want to risk injuring myself - or the ute

Undo the shock and make sure the hand brake is off and they fall out.

Correct, thick coils to the bottom and thinner coils to the top.
