indicator problems plz help

ok i have a question,i drive a 1999 VT equipe, sometimes when i go to use my indicators they come on and stay on and they dont flash this happens for both left and right, it really only seems to do it when it rains so im thinking a exposed wire somewhere..has anyone else got or had this problem and how did you fix it ?

ratz 26 make sure front and rear globes ok if so change flasher unit in fuse box

if a bulb is blown doesnt that make the others flash really fast ? ill give it a look anyways and replace the unit and see what happens
