Gear Knob

Hi is there anybody out there who knows how to get a auto gear knob a VT as i want to put a leather one on but cant work out how to get the old one off .
please help

Hey there,

If your wanting to change the rubber grip on the auto selector to leather, you need to remove some of the centre console and gain access to the lower end of the shaft (towards the gearbox). At the bottom is a pin you need to remove which releases the shaft and button on top of the selector. Once this is removed you can then take the rubber grip off and replace with leather, while the leave is out you can also change the button to the crome if you want...
