Depth of stereo DIN

quick question. if someone happens remove their factory head unit... can u measure the din dimensions... i know they are supposed to be 7" x 4" but id like to know how deep it goes in the VTII

I dont have my car near me atm as im in sydney during the term and i want to buy the parts from sydney before the uni holidays to work on my project

also, does anyone have a broken or unused VTII stock headunit they can donate to my project- (the front but doesnt need to be in good condition but preferably there)

front the faceback to end of deck is 16 cms
the face is 1.5 cms thick
the width is 17.5 cms
the height is 11 cms
