Rear power window doesn't go down

Hi, I have a VX II 2002, the rear passenger side power window works perfectly from the front controls but the rear switch will allow the window to go up but not down. It's not the switch as I have already tested it, does anyone know what else could cause this.
My thinking is maybe 1 of the wires is broken and will be getting a multimeter to check them, any other ideas on what could be causing this.

Happened to me too. i changed the wires from the motor to the body(through the door to the body pillar). Solder and heat shrink. i also swapped the switches over from left to right to see if it made a difference. I then bought new switches for the back. one was burnt out. sometimes if the switch gets stuck on and it burns the switch. I've seen it in the front and the back switches.
