It might have something to do with the vacuum. Check the thin vacuum hose at the rear of the intake manifold.

There should be a round plastic valve there as well, check that it is working, you should be able to blow through it one way but not the other way.

Do you have climate control or standard A/C?

ive got exactly the same prob in my VT Acclaim, there is a hissing behind the glovebox, i assume there is a vacuum connection there? and my fan only works on level 1,2 and 3 when its on max it stops? would the resistor be gone in the fan? time for a new one?

I had this problem on my old car (VP). I'm not sure if VT's have them, but my VP had a long steel rod that is connected to the back of the dial you turn to change it between feet / vents / dash etc. The bit that the end of that clipped into was broken (the little plastic clip down near where your left foot would sit on the footrest.

There is a vacuum hose that runs from the back of the heater control to up behind the glovebox. Pull your glovebox lid off and you should be able to find it. That might be loose or completely disconnected.

check ur vaccum lines. the actuator uses vaccum to change the the flap setting so it can blow to the face feet or wateva.

first check to see in the engine bay on the passenger side if all the vaccum lines are hooked up
