Default vx s2 cold air intake

gday, Iv got a vx s2 s pack commodore. It comes standard with the air intake on top of the radiator this then goes into the airbox. Is this a cold air intake setup?
    thanks

ok so i guess theres no point in getting and aftermarket one? also is there much gains by installing a k and n air filter? like I mean noticible gains on the road.

better fuel economy, better induction noise (sucking sound) and i did notice a little bit of better top end as in when the revs built up it didnt feel like the car was trying as hard? if that make sence?

If you want to get some more air in you could just cut out the hole a little more.
