VT Dash warning lights

Hi guys,

for some reason all my warning lights are on like engine, abs, trac etc. i have just got the car back from a local mechanic to see if it could go onto there computer, how ever when i picked it up they said they couldnt enter the computer for the car.

would this mean the ecu is stuffed?

had same thing happen was stuffed regulator on alternator

it cant be my alternator, its brand new only a few weeks old. could it be the pcm at all?
