Just wondering what would be an optimal diff gear ratio for a VT S1 V6 Auto. I believe they are 3.08 stock but as most other V6 owners would know, the low highway revs can be a frustrating, usually having to drop down a gear to overtake.

Where would be a good place to source them from - new or old and is it somehow identifiable by the eye if a second-hand one was picked up? Also, what sort of prices should I be prepared to pay?
