vx ss holding 1st gear too long
vxss auto holds 1st until about 3000-3500 revs major or minor problem.can anybody give me some info.
has it always done it?
iv got a vt s super6 an it holds to about 3g over with the power botton on
how hard are you planting it down? if your just coasting i would expect it to shift anywhere between 22-2500, but the further you plant it the longer it will hold the gear normally. with power ON mine will hold to 28-3000 with little accel if that helps
has only just started doing after i give the car a bit of a hiddinghappen 2 days and is still doing it.started to slip a little bit into 2nd gear about 2 weeks before.but now it does nt slip at all it just holds 1st gear,no matter how hard u step on the go pedal.

autos tend to be fussy with this kinda thing

When my auto blew it did very similar thing. I would hold revs until it had enough road speed up and then skip 2nd all together and just go to 3rd.
before it did that it would hold revs like you say yours is, if i put the pedal to the floor it would bounch of limiter before changing.
Turned out to be 2nd gear destroyed.
I would suggest taking it for a auto service and get their opnion.
Could also be a servo issue as well.
