vt fuel gauge

Driving home tonight after filling the car up the fuel gauge decided it would give up the ghost and now leaves the red light on and shows empty. Does anyone know if you can repair the sender or buy it without a fuel pump attached.

my car did the same thing.
i just left it a couple days n it fixed its self.
