I have seen rear passenger map lights in the VL calais (Im sure they exist elsewhere too) but I'm wondering if it is a hard job to fit in the VT and if the VT calais or statesman came with them stock so I can find the part.
Cheers
yeah man vt berlina and calais came with them,i put them in my vx u can go to ways,
1 make them a slave to ur centre light thats what i did
2 get the loom for them from the wreckers and put them in
Yeah I won't the loom so they can work independently from the centre light. What are the looms and lights worth.
How hard was the fitting in terms of roof lining and cutting?
Cheer
u dont need to cut the roof linning, take about 10 mins to take the roof linning off, and i paid 12 bucks for both lights and the loom i didnt get but would say 10 max, if u look in the back of ur car at the handles in the roof just under them is a tab the lights fit into
if you undo the handles where the lights pop in is there wiring inside to connect the lights to? where does the wiring harness connect to? say u dont want to connect to the middle light, shouldent there be wiring at the back of em????
na m8 there isnt i belive the harness connects to the centre light but im not a 100% as i made mine a slave,
try this package http://cgi.ebay.com.au/HOLDEN-VT-VX-...3A1%7C294%3A50

Cheers man.
I called the local wreckers and they said the looms should be easy to find as they break easily, supposedly.
