VT 5L engine cover

hi all,

sorry this probablt sounds lame but what type of tool is used to remove the engine covers on a VT 5L , they look like stars? an alan key kinda fits?? any hlep as would like to remove to clean.

Sounds like Torx screws, you can buy a cheap set of wrenches for them, similar to Allen key wrenches. My VN 5l had normal Allen headed screws.
