    Default My car's demise

To all the folks at JC universe,

Last two weeks I had been without a car. To make a looong story short, my car overheated and being in a rush to get to work, I blew up the engine literally.

Radiator cracked, waterpump gone, hoses popped, engine block cracked, pistons rings snapped, cylinder head cracked, pistons jammed, the list is endless...

The only option was to replace the engine as it was the only practical and economical way of repairing the car. The agent here is trying their very best to find a second hand engine since to import a brand new v6 3.8liter sucpercharged engine will cost more than what i'm willing to spend. So i'm without wheels.

The morale of the story, when the engine is smoking...STOP!!

thats bad luck mate. The supercharged versions are quite pricey from wreckers.

Can't just put a stock ecotec in and transfer the supercharged aspects over? Or dump a 5ltre in?
