vx L67 idle problem

it is idleing rough but driven its fine have had all the gaskets replaced in the motor hoes the lot am thinking i need the injectors done what could be wrong coils are fine new plugs been done

Has it been idling bad since the new plugs? Possibly bad plug, when was spark plugs done?

You said it has all new gaskets? Assuming work has been done recently check the vacuum hoses under the throttle body, back of the heads from one head to the other. These are hard to see and alot of people get it wrong at reassembly.

yeah i had the velly cover gaskets done 2 sets of plugs put in charger gaskets new vac hoses the works the mac recons its the injectors

Whay would the injectors affect the idle all of a sudden if they were fine before the job was done? It will be something that was not re fitted 100% during the job. Plug leads or vacuum hoses are my tip. Injectors will be fine

i had a fair large vacc leak from around 2 of the injectors - shagged O rings... it would bounce from 500-1100 rpm

il give it a shot 2morrow and get bk 2 ya it is doing a bit better than when i 1st picked it up

When mine has this problem I usually trace it to shit fuel ,it seems to be very sensitive to it

its had 2 different fuel jonts i put 10L lots into it i am over it checked all the hoes all seam ok
